A warm, inviting atmosphere meets multi-purpose planning in Sunny Ridge, a resident-centric community. Aptura handled the design and construction processes of their 2008 renovation that makes the most of limited space. To achieve the desired atmosphere in this county-funded renovation project, curved nurse stations were opened to foster resident and staff interaction, and computer screens were mounted into the work surfaces to ensure resident privacy. An uninviting basement was transformed into a multi-faceted therapy space with the use of fixtures, finishes and a carpeted room that can be used both as an office and for walking practice.
