As a result, these spaces have emerged as a central component of renovations and a focal point for sales and marketing tours. Elizabethtown, KY – 72-bed short-term rehabilitation addition to a skilled nursing facility<br /><br />This wing caters to short-term rehabilitation patients and includes a private therapy space. Features include a fully functional occupational therapy kitchen, 42" flat panel TV and ample natural light.

Sheboygan, WI – 200 beds, skilled nursing<br /><br />An uninviting basement has been transformed into a multi-functional therapeutic activity area. Fixtures and finishes wrap the room in comforting ambience, while creative storage solutions get optimal use out of the space available.

Winter Haven, FL – 118 skilled nursing beds, 34 assisted living units<br /><br />This therapy gym serves as a durable and functional workspace – facilitating safe, speedy and dynamic recovery in a 32-bed rapid-rehabilitation wing.

This therapy area concept was designed specifically to allow patients to practice daily tasks and challenges before returning home. Instead of standard steps, a porch façade allows residents to practice walking up and down stairs, sitting in a rocking chair, gathering mail and more. Details like AstroTurf, sheet vinyl and cobble stone provide authentic experiences.
